2 Stroke Detroit Diesels, What can
I say? These engines don't die they are MURDERED!
One of the most common reasons is the wrong oil is used. 2 stroke Detroit's
require straight weight OIL.
30W or 40W. DO NOT USE MULTI-GRADE OIL ---PERIOD. Unless you are in Alaska
In winter.
2nd Mistake - On all 2 stroke Detroit's, The cylinder blocks should be
re-bored for Oversize Liners.
