| This is a Story About
"Ben". Ben is a 79 year young camper. Ben has a 1994 Winnebago Pusher
Motor Home with a 190 HP Cummins 5.9 Diesel. Ben came to our shop on a Tuesday Morning
complaining about lack of power,smoking,10 MPH up grades, and general bad performance.
Being tied up with other job at the time I gave a Banks brochure on the Twin Ram Power
pack to take with him. He stated that he had already had "More Power" added.
Further discussion revealed the the "More Power" was a $400.00 "Turn up the
Pump" deal. I advised Ben to bring The unit in On That Thursday so I could check it
out and advise him. Well I did not see Ben on Thursday or Friday. I had to go to the shop
on Friday night at about 8:00 PM and what do I see? I see Ben, his motor home and his tow
car, with a tow truck. Ben's motor home and tow car were covered in Oil. Oil that had
blown out of the oil filler tube. At this point the engine had seized. This engine only
had 55,000 miles on it. Upon removal and disassembly of engine the following is what I
found. |

So Ben's 400.00 "Pump Up" endings up costing
him 14,260.00, of course this Includes a
Banks Twin Ram Power Pack. A Legitimate "Pump Up".
The moral of this story -------- You get what you pay
for. |
